According to USA Today, the Italian coach, Ettore Messina is a front-runner to get the job of Los Angeles Lakers’ head-coach. The former coach of CSKA Moscow is currently one of the assistant coaches of Gregg Popovich in San Antonio.
Lakers have already got the agreement of the Texan team to talk with coach Pop’s assistant. Messina already has been in Los Angeles during the 2011-2012 season when he was one of Mike Brown’s assistant coaches.
