Salaries 2021-2022 – Orléans : French players paid like Pro B players

At OLB, among the smallest budgets of the Elite, there is a nice envelope for foreign players, and a mini one for the French. It shows in performance.

The recruitment strategy of Orléans – 14th budget of the division – was based on an experienced 1-5 axis, which gives almost complete satisfaction. The PG Chris Warren has behind him three spaced stays in Nanterre. OLB convinced him to come for a €20k raise from last season (€145k), and he is producing his best attacking stats in a professional career, namely 16 points – 7th Betclic Elite marker – with a good address behind the arc : 40.6 %, despite a small drop in speed at the end of January.

The situation is the same for the Senegalese Youssou Ndoye, who is so far the third best scorer (17.6 points) – causing a lot of faults – and the best rebounder (8.1, ex-aequo with Neal Sako) in the championship. He is the 9th salary of Betclic Elite (185k euros), if we exclude the players from Monaco and Villeurbanne, it is fully deserved, especially because his stature (2.11 m and the muscles that go with) is rare in France.
