The Greek legendary guard will be the eight player to receive the honorary distinction.
This Wednesday night might be one to remember for Olympiakos fans. As they start their playoff campaign against French club of AS Monaco, they will also see fan-favorite Vassilis Spanoulis honored by the Euroleague. He will join elite company such as Juan Carlos Navarro, Felipe Reyes or Dimitris Diamantidis.
Spanoulis has won two Euroleague titles (2012, 2013) as well as one MVP (2013) and two Final Four MVP (2012, 2013).
