Lithuanian team has announced a new partnership and a new role for president Arvydas Sabonis.
Through a press release, Zalgiris Kaunas has announced its new partnership with tech company Tesonet.
“Tesonet will invest in our business model and provide opportunities to grow and earn more money by reinvesting it in a stronger team. We have developed our long-term innovation strategy with the vision for Zalgiris Kaunas to become an internationally recognized brand in the field of sports innovation. This would be a breakthrough in our activities through innovation and modern technologies.”

Structural changes are also coming up as Tesonet wishes to reunite all Zalgiris sports clubs under one franchise. An “Honor Club” will also be created in the coming weeks. Lithuanian legend Arvydas Sabonis has been offered the position of honorary president.
