Thanks to a dominant second half, Tenerife wins the title (98-87) against fellow Spanish team Manresa.
After 2017, Tenerife wins its second BCL thanks to Final Four MVP Marcelino Huertas. The 38-year-old Brazilian guard puts up a huge performance with 13 points and 14 assists to secure the trophy. The Final was rather indecisive at the half with Manresa only leading up by one (29-30).
Thanks to a strong third quarter (33-17), Tenerife took a crucial lead led by a white-hot Kyle Wiltjer (17 points, 3/6 from three). However, Maresa kept up the fighting alongside regular-season MVP, Chima Moneke. With his game-high 24 points, the Nigerian forward did not disappoint. Local coach, Txus Vidorreta and Aaron Doornekamp are on the rare list of BCL two-time winners.
