Lithuania keeps adding games to its agenda before the Eurobasket.
Team Lithuania just announced two friendlies ahead of EuroBasket 2022 that will be held in Germany, Italy, Georgia and Czech Republic.
The first friendly match will be held on June 22nd in Riga against Latvia, with the neighboring country’s national team coming to Lithuania on June 26th.
“It’s going to be a stressful but interesting summer with the FIBA windows and the friendly matches, we’ve chosen strong opponents. The Latvians are planning to have their best roster, and the two matches against Spain speak for themselves, our goal is to have the best players. I’m glad that most of them have expressed the intention to play for the national team. A lot of challenges are ahead of us, but I hope we’ll have a fun and good summer.”
