Reportedly, Dimitris Itoudis is set to join Fenerbahce, to became the new head coach of the Turkish team. He is leaving the club after 8 years of good and loyal service.

During his eight years in Russia, the head coach has won the Euroleague two times and the Russian League six times. For the second time in 13 years, CSKA Moscow will not become the VTB League champion. They lost the game 7 against Zenith St.Petersburg. CSKA blew a 3-1 lead in this final. Itoudis became the Greek NT head coach earlier in the year, and he might join Fenerbahce, to replace Sasha Djordjevic.

“I’m very proud and thankful for the opportunity that I had to work with such a great club. I want to thank the supporters for their support. I’m talking like that because we decided with the club to go separate ways, but I don’t say goodbye, I say I will see you around because CSKA is a great club with a great future”.
