While his team was heavily beaten by Olympiakos (71-95) and is only in 15th place (6 wins for 10 losses) of the Euroleague, the Montenegrin coach Dejan Radonjic of Panathinaikos has been confirmed in his position.
Dejan Radonjic had a long conversation with the president Dimitris Giannakopoulos and he obviously convinced him of his skills because here he is authorized to shake up his team with an “unlimited” budget. In addition, general manager Argyris Pedoulakis was transferred to youth development, which does not look like a promotion!
The restructuring was done in the hope of restoring the image of Panathinaikos which according to Dimitris Giannakopoulos has deteriorated.
